Who you are
- 🧭 Experienced: 3+ years in outbound sales or business development (SaaS/B2B preferred), with a track record of booking qualified meetings that convert
- 💡 Strategic & data-minded: Comfortable with tools like HubSpot, Outreach/Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator; you analyze what works and iterate fast
- ✍️ Strong communicator: You write crisp, compelling outreach and confidently engage decision-makers across channels
- Self-starter: You thrive in fast-paced, early-stage environments, organized, proactive, and comfortable building from scratch
- 🤝 Team-oriented: You collaborate easily across roles (Sales, RevOps, Marketing) and share what you learn to help others grow
- 🌱 Growth-driven: Always learning, open to feedback, and excited to help shape our US sales motion with your insights and hustle
What the job involves
- As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective clients in the US and play a key role in driving Welcome to the Jungle’s growth in the region
- You’ll work closely with the Sales Account Executive and Revenue Operations Manager (both based in NYC) to launch and execute outbound sales campaigns, qualify inbound leads, and set the stage for successful sales conversations. This role is more than just pipeline generation, it’s an opportunity to help shape our commercial presence and go-to-market strategy in the US
- We’re a growing team, so your input will directly influence how we build our BDR playbook and scale our efforts in the US market
- You'll drive new business opportunities by developing and executing outbound campaigns across channels (calls, emails, LinkedIn, etc.), as well as developing new opportunities through commercial partnerships, agencies, etc.
- For qualifying leads, you'll assess inbound and outbound leads to determine fit and interest, all while defining qualification criteria and best practices that are tailored to the US market.
- You enjoy cultivating leads and providing the best prospect experience possible, and are able to build trust and interest from the very beginning.
- You'll be able to use data to pinpoint improvements, and share your learnings with the team.
