Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of hands-on performance marketing experience with a strong track record of optimizing large-scale accounts in fast-paced, agile environments
- Deep knowledge of the full Google Ads funnel (Search, YT, DemandGen, Shopping, Pmax, App)
- A strong data-driven mindset with familiarity in conversion tracking, attribution models, and tools like Tableau, Amplitude, and Appsflyer
- Ability to act as a cross-functional facilitator between analytical and creative teams
- Experience in B2C subscription-based and/or e-commerce industries and knowledge of App Install campaigns are highly appreciated
- Fluency in English and C2-Native German skills are a must for this position
What the job involves
- We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Performance Marketing Manager to join the Growth Marketing team at Grover, full-time and minimum 3 days per week (Tuesday-Thursday) at our Berlin HQ
- As a Senior Performance Marketing Manager at Grover, you will own and elevate the performance marketing strategy and execution across paid media channels
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive acquisition, activation, and retention through innovative, data-driven campaigns, with a particular focus on Google Ads and Paid Social Media
- Your goal is to drive efficient growth across multiple markets managing multi-million Euro budgets
- Take charge of Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube, Shopping) and Meta campaigns, optimizing for both web and app performance
- Develop, test, and iterate data-driven strategies to improve effectiveness and efficiency
- Manage cross-channel budgets, balancing spending efficiency with campaign impact and scalability
- Partner with BI, Risk and Purchasing to leverage insights for continuous portfolio, audience and performance improvements
- Collaborate with external partners, such as marketing platforms, feed management, agencies and managed services to expand campaign capabilities and drive innovation
- Work alongside brand, product, and category teams to ensure cohesive marketing efforts and to enhance conversion rates along the funnel
- Stay up-to-date on emerging features in Google Ads, Paid Social platforms, and other performance marketing tools to ensure best practices and state-of-the-art campaign management

People often have to plan around such purchases; the costs are unavoidable as they represent essential investments. Furthermore, the life cycle of products usually begins and ends with one user, which is not always optimised for sustainability.

Through its flexible approach, the company aims to reach a wide target audience by increasing access to tech products as well as maximising the value of these items by reducing waste and increasing their circulation.
Originally founded in Berlin, Grover has expanded its services to America, helping it achieve a 354% Year On Year growth. In 2022, the company opened a Miami headquarters, expanded its US team, and achieved 5.9 million visitors to its website. All of this combined signals the company's ripeness for expansion, whilst an impressive $50 million VC investment awarded in 2024 will accelerate a sustainable trajectory of growth.
