Who you are
- 2-3 years of experience in a mid-market or enterprise SaaS sales management role
- At least 4 years of experience in an IC sales role
- Experience with a technical sale, selling to Finance and Engineering teams
- Prior success leading teams while also focusing on deal execution in partnership with AEs
- A track record of high performance against sales goals as both an individual contributor and manager
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-starters who are organized and resourceful
- Experience with Gong, Outreach, and Salesforce
What the job involves
- Anrok is growing quickly, and as the Mid-Market Sales Manager, you’ll play a key role in scaling our mid-market customer acquisition motion
- You will manage a dynamic team of mid-market account executives through a combination of strategic and velocity deal cycles
- You’ll work closely with our Head of Sales to identify opportunities to refine mid-market sales strategies for high-growth customers and drive day-to-day execution
- We are looking for someone excited to recruit execution-oriented account executives and deliver on segment objectives and revenue targets
- Manage and coach a team of high-performing mid-market account executives with a hands-on approach
- Participate in sales calls regularly
- Recruit, hire, and train new mid-market account executives as our sales team continues to scale
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Analyze mid-market metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in this dynamic segment of our market
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and customer-centricity within the mid-market team
Our take
Software is becoming an increasingly taxable enterprise, in increasingly nuanced and jurisdiction-specific ways thanks to new rulings in the late 2010s. SaaS companies need to keep track of both their physical and economic nexuses, leaving many companies scrambling to stay compliant. Anrok has developed a simple API-based solution to help companies get there.
Anrok's no-code, out-of-the-box tool helps businesses easily calculate sales tax monitoring, calculation, and remittance wherever their product is used, and easily identify new exposures. It’s a simple solution to a complex problem, and the result for Anrok has been impressive funding and strong growth in the short few years it’s been in operation.
This will in part be thanks to the company’s astute pricing model: much like SaaS businesses themselves, it’s based on demand. This makes it scalable enough to encompass both smaller and enterprise SaaS clients. This, in turn, means Anrok’s addressable market within the SaaS sector is substantial. And that’s a sector that in itself is continuing to see remarkable growth. All this makes it a promising, and as of yet fairly unchallenged, position that Anrok is carving out.
