Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate will be an exceptional independent operator willing to work at high intensity as part of our core team (ex-Revolut, Tesla, Citadel, & Jump Trading)
- The right person likes solving large, complex problems with multiple moving parts, and is probably looking to start their own business in 2-3 years
- Based in Ireland
- Track record of exceptional achievement
- At least 2 years' experience
- Bachelors degree from a top university in STEM with coding experience
- Relentless approach and curiosity to solving problems
- Comfortable defining your own workflow, learning quickly and iterating
- Ability to work well individually or in a team
What the job involves

- The Strategy & Operations team works across the business, working closely with the broader team to deliver our core products to customers
- We value a broad range of technical skills - our current team comes from a background of mathematics, physics and engineering
- This position will take a leading role in setting up our operations in Ireland
- Some of the tasks the operations team are currently working on include:
- Analysing and optimising our core supply operations: from energy trading to our finance function
- Building and pricing innovative products and working on strategy to deliver them
- Expanding our operations to other markets, breaking down the business and regulatory environment in each jurisdiction
- Sourcing & negotiation of contracts with our partners to achieve business goals
Our take
Traditional energy companies often prioritise profit over sustainability, leading to high prices and reliance on fossil fuels. Fuse Energy aims to disrupt the energy market by offering lower prices and cleaner energy options.
It does this by building solar farms that ensure access to cheap, renewable energy. Its data science team forecasts energy demand and buys additional power from gas and electricity markets, providing a mix of renewable and traditional sources.
With €76M in annualised revenue and 7x year-on-year growth, it now supplies 50,000 homes and plans to expand into Ireland, Europe, and the US. Backed by new AI features and with investments into clean energy, Fuse is truly shaping up to redefine the future of home energy.
