Who you are
- Willingness to work with rapidly changing tools and technologies
- Previous experience in IT support
- Track record of owning issues from escalation to resolution
- Knowledge of problem management frameworks (ITIL preferred but not required)
- Systematically troubleshooting issues as they occur
- Ability to multitask numerous issues by identifying and prioritizing based on urgency
- Responsible, reliable, and calm under pressure

- A testing mindset – able to support issues and suggest improvements to existing tools

What the job involves
- The Remote Support Technician is the backbone of Outrider’s ability to provide our customers with the highest level of service and support of the Outrider’s Yard Automation solution
- This person is responsible for fully understanding both customer operations and the Outrider system, ensuring that vehicles can continue performing their job under all varieties of challenges that the real world throws at them
- This person will begin by providing local support and building out our workflow of remote support services, transitioning to a leadership position in remote support as Outrider grows
- Resolve issues on robots during their autonomous operations
- Respond to and interact with incoming Remote Support requests on the Outrider Remote Support Platform
- Resolve requests within the expected SLA timeframe
- Troubleshoot errors on individual robots and document all issues within the ticketing system
- Log and report any issues to relevant teams through defined escalation processes
- Escalate issues to the next appropriate support level by providing actionable and relevant information
- Travel up to 75% while building out the service
