Role
Who you are
- You have 3-6 years experience working in Product Management roles - ideally with focus on payments or securities transfers. Experience in financial services/investing, B2B SaaS or FinTech is a big plus
- Understanding of and a focus on B2B client needs and how to delight them. You have a clear bias for impact and speed in product discovery and delivery
- Be a sponge! We don’t need you to be a finance or securities industry expert. But you will need to be able to absorb knowledge on complicated topics quickly (e.g. cash and securities reconciliation, SWIFT and its related complexities) and combine with your expertise on product management best practices
- Experience with product manager’s toolkits - such as product discovery, ticketing and documentation software (e.g., Linear, Slite, Miro, Figma etc.)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Bonus points if you have worked with Security Transfers
What the job involves
- As Upvest enters the next stage of growth, we are looking for an exceptional Senior Product Manager
- Ou will work directly with Aleksandr Tsirkunov, Mislav Ilich, Christian Wöhlke owning topics critical to Upvest’s product and business success:
- You will own and develop a crucial part of the investing pipeline—ensuring investors can deposit funds and withdraw funds effortlessly. Your work will directly shape a seamless, instant, and worry-free cash management experience, giving investors the confidence to trust our platform with their financial future
- You will revolutionize one of the investment industry's more established processes—Security Transfers. Your challenge is to transform a traditionally slow and confusing experience into a seamless, intuitive process similar to what users experience with cash transfers. Enable tTransfers acrossalso should be enabled across many different jurisdictions and account types (e.g. French PEA, UK ISA/SIPPs etc…)
- You will own and shape key infrastructure that powers Upvest’s expansion into new regions. From setting up seamless end-user payments to integrating new venues to offer different instruments and driving banking and custody partnerships, your work will be at the heart of making global investment services a reality

Our take
Upvest is a fintech startup that empowers financial services companies to provide their customers with access to a full range of financial assets, including stocks, ETFs and crypto products. Upvest's investment API integrates seamlessly with its customers existing systems and is designed to scale easily, freeing companies from the need to develop their own brokerage and custody infrastructure from scratch.
As one of the few companies in Germany that is licensed for both the custody of traditional securities and crypto, Upvest is able to provide its services across Europe. Its solution has been readily adopted by some major players in the space including Ginmon, Vivid and ABN AMRO.
Upvest is backed by a number of Europe's largest tech VCs (Earlybird, Notion Capital, Partech, HV Capital, ABN AMRO Ventures) alongside American investment monolith BlackRock. In 2023, it closed a VC investment round, which the company has claimed is one of the largest in the German fintech arena. This was followed up by an impressive Series C at the end of 2024, which is being used to grow its team, enhance its product and cement its presence in the UK.
