Role
Who you are
- 3–7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management (preferably in SaaS or technology)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Strong prospecting and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Experience managing lead generation to demo
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required)
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Business Development Manager to focus on driving growth across our portfolio of SaaS solutions
- This role will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding revenue through outbound and inbound sales efforts
- You will play a key role in accelerating market expansion and strengthening EverCommerce’s position within our verticals
- As a Business Development Manager — You will own prospecting and lead generation. You’ll collaborate with Sales Executive, cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and maximize customer value
- Identify, prospect, and generate new business opportunities through outbound outreach, networking, and partnerships
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Conduct product presentations, demos, and negotiations with key decision-makers
- Manage the pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting
- Collaborate with marketing to align on campaigns, messaging, and lead generation strategies
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform growth strategies
- Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term customer success
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows as needed
