Who you are
- You have a deep understanding of AI/ML and you’ve been working in this field for a while
- You love practical applications of cutting edge technologies and want to be part of a team using your skills for good

- You like working in a dynamic, fast paced environment getting stuck into projects across the whole of a small but growing company
- A PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field, with a strong focus on NLU / LLMs
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or R
- Strong knowledge in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or similar
- Experience in advanced machine learning techniques, data analysis, and data modelling
- Excellent communication and people skills
- A desire to help others grow and develop
- Proven ability to drive AI/ML initiatives and integrate them within business applications
- Strong understanding and experience with diverse data sets, and ability to address data diversity issues in AI/ML solutions
Desirable
- Experience working with large language models such as GPT-4
- Familiarity with C#
- Demonstrable interest in healthcare and/or education
- Demonstrable interest in the intersection between ML and immersive technologies
What the job involves
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists
- Design, implement and oversee machine learning systems and infrastructure
- Develop strategies for effective data analysis and modelling
- Select appropriate datasets and data representation methods
- Lead the development of novel machine learning algorithms to solve complex healthcare education problems
- Run machine learning tests and experiments, perform statistical analysis and interpretation
- Ensure software architecture integration with Machine Learning models
- Collaborate with product managers and other business stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions
- Keep abreast of developments in the field and propose adoption of new technologies and methodologies
