Role
Who you are
- You excel at enabling others. You’ll spend a lot of time with customers and studying product metrics, and you can share your knowledge in a way that helps your Nory teammates do their best work
- You’re a systems thinker. We move fast, deal with uncertainty and plan for second-order effects of our actions. We always have an opinion on what’s next, and why. You’ll help us clarify and back up those opinions, uncover and validate assumptions we may hold – and ship world-class software
- You can translate impact. Your work will connect our R&D, CS and GTM efforts. Clear communication in a hybrid working environment is key
- You have experience. We work collaboratively across multiple teams and several projects at a time. You have helped shipped digital products, preferably at a B2B SaaS start-up or scale-up during a phase of rapid growth. Transferable experience with hospitality services, POS or inventory management systems is a plus
- You can adult. You value organisation, manage your time, set daily and weekly goals for yourself and your team. You take responsibility for your work and close open loops. You speak up, ask questions, can give and receive feedback. You know your boundaries and respect those of others. You work hard during reasonable hours so you can switch off at the end of the day - we don’t believe in “hero culture” and encourage a healthy work-life balance
What the job involves
- You’ll be one of Nory’s first product management hires. Rather than spending your time composing user stories, people-managing teams or project managing their output, your focus will be on:
- Ensuring we are building the best possible tools to solve our customers biggest problems
- Empowering our designers and engineers to make great product decisions and build world class products
- Coaching our teams to deeply understand and effectively communicate what we do to our customers and prospects
- Partnering with product designers and product engineers to deeply understand, define and validate problems to solve. The product is relatively young and we work closely with its users to improve it based on real-world usage
- Assisting product teams in shaping and validating impactful solutions that make Nory smarter, more powerful and ergonomic for our users
- Crafting documentation and narratives that help us better communicate the value we ship to our customers. Our product teams actively help CS and GTM functions in fulfilling their day-to-day responsibilities
- Monitoring our impact through qualitative and quantitative research and learning from successes and failures. At Nory, not a day goes by without speaking to our customers or reviewing product analytics
- Planning the future of the Nory product. We need to ensure that the features we release are iterated on to the highest standard while setting foundations for the long term
Our take
Nory’s AI and automation software allows restaurants to more easily take control of common pain points like inventory, staffing, and marketing, all on one platform. With thin margins, stretched teams and high levels of waste, Nory was founded by a seasoned restaurant founder and scaler, who knows all too well how juggling "market-leading" systems can become a headache for restaurant managers. Indeed, he even built an early version of Nory for his own restaurant.
What makes Nory a particularly interesting prospect is the value that it can offer multi-site restaurants or chains, given its ability to collect data on each location at once. It melds real-time data with AI predictive analytics so that operators can regain control of their profit. It’s this certainty of purpose and value that’s helped Nory get off to a flying start, securing a rapidly growing customer base including Stonegate Pubs, Dr Juice and Viva Italia.
Having raised a significant amount of capital, most recently in a May 2025 Series B round, Nory has grown its team and expanded from Ireland and the UK into Spain as well. It's using its funding to expand into the US, hire data scientists and accelerate its product development. As the hospitality industry struggles with high costs and low margins, Nory's solution will be increasingly essential for restaurants seeking to optimise their operations and turn a profit.
