Who you are

We hire for three traits: we want people who are smart, nice, and get things done
8+ years of experience as a T-SQL programmer (stored procedure and UDF development)
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
Previous knowledge of full lifecycle activities to include requirements analysis, design, development, functional testing, pushes to production and operations/maintenance
Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's success
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Collaborative and experience working with multiple teams & stakeholders
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with good time-management skills
Ideal candidate will have experience in object-oriented software development with C#.NET and the design of software in the database environment
Good working experience with Visual Studio, SSDT, TFS and SQL Server Management Studio

What the job involves

Development of high-performing database solutions
Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL
Ability to analyze existing and new SQL queries for performance improvements
Proficient in writing and reviewing stored procedures, user-defined functions, views
Development of high-quality database solutions
Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL* Review and interpret ongoing business requirements
Closely work with the Application Development team to implement application requirements
Review and research existing logic to support production
