What the job involves

We are seeking a talented UX/UI designer to redesign the user experience and design new features for our SaaS risk product in the construction industry
The aim of the project is to improve the overall usability and effectiveness of the product to enhance user satisfaction and increase adoption rates
NPlan are seeking a UX/UI designer to cover current gaps in our design team
Within our 2 existing SaaS B2B products, your main objective will be to help our users understand the meaning and context of uncertainty forecasting results in the construction industry
You will be working with a wonderful team of product managers, risk engineers and software engineers to figure out the best UI solutions to tricky data visualisation and communication problems
In addition, you will be working on some aspects of our UX, figuring out user flows with our PMs and refining as well as implementing resulting UX designs. We are aiming to integrate you into our squads for a period of 9 months
You will work with two cross-functional teams, helping them with the UI design of complicated features. We have daily stand-ups and work in fortnightly sprints
You would work together with the product managers and front-end designers as well as data scientists on prototyping new features, prototyping them and answering questions of the engineers when they are implementing them
We use JIRA Discovery to track and visualise discovery work. You would talk to our users and clients to understand their pain-points
This includes collaborating with our internal risk engineers who are domain experts and also act as user researchers
