Role
Who you are
- 1 - 3 years experience in leading an App Support (or similar) team
- 3 - 4 years as an Engineer on a App Support team
- 1 - 2 years experience with GCP
- 2+ years of Ruby development experience
What the job involves
- 1st line of defense on incoming issues from all sources (stakeholders)
- Triage issues
- Clean up issues (investigate)
- Mature issues (add information, investigation conclusions)
- Estimate fixability of issues
- Fix issues the App Support team has the expertise to fix
- Coordinate with tracks for the issues that need to be handed over to them
- Technical and line management of the App Support team
- Recruitment, Training and Mentoring support team members
- Triage incoming Engineering (Jira) issues from multiple stakeholders
- Clean up, investigate and classify severity of issues
- Work with product managers on prioritization
- Estimate issue solutions
- Solve or handover to development teams potential solutions
