What the job involves
- You’ll be instrumental in crafting intuitive, user-focused experiences for our video AI platform
- You’ll lead the creation of a cohesive, scalable design system, working closely with product managers and engineers to translate complex requirements into streamlined, elegant user interfaces
- Through a combination of user research, usability testing and data analysis, you’ll ensure our products are both user-centric and innovative
- You’ll advocate for the customer perspective across the product development lifecycle and bring a mobile-first, design-forward approach to every project
- Influencing and building a scalable design system that unifies the Spot AI product suite
- Conducting hands-on user research to gain a deep understanding of customer needs and turning insights into impactful designs
- Partnering with product, engineering and other stakeholders to deliver user-centered solutions that drive business impact
- Advocating for a customer-first approach, influencing design direction and iterating based on data and user feedback
- Creating high-fidelity prototypes and interactions that bring design concepts to life

Spot AI develops an AI-driven video intelligence platform for businesses, offering software integrations for existing cameras and free-to-use high-resolution cameras. The platform allows all relevant parties to access videos securely and investigate them through AI-driven computer vision, preventing the need for time-consuming manual investigations and back-and-forth access dilemmas.
The largest challenge the company faces is the expensive nature of video intelligence, but Spot AI provides its technology either through integration with existing cameras or by providing its high-definition cameras for free.
