What the job involves
- Job Overview: The Event Marketing Director is responsible for organizing and executing various marketing events that drive brand awareness, engage customers, and promote our products/services.
- This role involves managing all event logistics, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring each event aligns with our marketing objectives and brand standards
- Plan and execute marketing events such as product launches, trade shows, conferences, webinars, and community events
- Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, catering, transportation, equipment, and audiovisual needs
- Develop and manage event budgets, tracking costs and ensuring cost-effectiveness
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop and implement event promotion strategies across social media, email, and other channels
- Assist in creating promotional materials and digital content for pre-event and post-event campaigns
- Track and analyze event performance metrics to evaluate event success and provide recommendations for future improvements
- Serve as the primary point of contact for event vendors, sponsors, and partners
- Negotiate contracts and ensure that all deliverables and timelines are met
- Coordinate with internal teams, including the C-suite, to ensure event success
- Oversee event setup and breakdown, managing logistics and resolving any issues that arise
- Ensure all branding, signage, and promotional materials are properly displayed
- Act as the main point of contact for attendees, ensuring a smooth and positive experience
- Collect feedback from attendees, vendors, and stakeholders to gauge event effectiveness
- Compile event reports summarizing outcomes, attendee feedback, and lessons learned
- Use insights to refine future events and improve overall event strategy

With many real estate insurers relying on a generalized approach, homeowners and landlords often have to pick up the slack when it comes to complex and serious claims. Plus, insuring properties against rising costs in the US means many insurers simply won't cover a large portion of homes.
Honeycomb Insurance aims to remedy these real estate coverage issues using AI and computer vision to quantify insurance claim costs. It analyzes aerial photographs of building roofs and street-level shots to analyze quality and risk, thus removing the need for expensive physical inspections. This means the company can accurately underwrite risks in a fraction of the time, and deliver a better service to more consumers.
The value of its offerings is reflected in its expansion to 18 states, now covering over 60% of the US population and insuring more than $35B in assets. And substantial funding is fueling its growth into new insurance markets and accelerating its AI-powered technology, as the company continues to scale its impact in the commercial real estate insurance space.
