Role

Who you are

  • Experience working in successful Cloud Platform, DevOps, or SRE teams (or similar)
  • Experience working in Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform - general coding experience would be great, too
  • Experience advocating for DevOps and SRE best practices across a technology organisation (familiarity with DORA, Accelerate, and the State of DevOps Reports would be ideal!)
  • You are passionate about creating a great experience for users (both internal and external)
  • You enjoy working closely and collaborating with people across different teams
  • You love making systems and processes better (especially through automation)
  • You’re data-driven, are familiar with using data, metrics, and visualisations to identify and communicate problems and opportunities

What the job involves

  • A key part of this is our Cloud Platform Team of 4, who are shaping the future of what our platform looks like, redefining a scaling, international business' working practices and how we operate as a team
  • Developer experience (DevEx) is a huge priority for us - we treat internal stakeholders as customers and our Cloud Platform team are essential in creating a successful scalable and adaptable platform
  • By focusing on DevEx, we can craft a platform which focuses on engineers being self-serving, internationally flexible and scalable, empowering our Engineering Teams to be innovative and push the boundaries on our product offerings!
  • We are always looking for ways to innovate, collaborate, work faster and be more efficient - without compromising on quality and merchant experience
  • Our Cloud Platform Engineer role will see you bringing new ideas to our platform design, including monitoring, observability and security
  • One of the key projects you will be involved in is building our new platform in GCP, and we want your thoughts on how we can do this best!

It has raised significant funding that will enable it to grow its European presence with new and established partners, bringing flexible funding options to SMEs in new territories such as the Nordic region.
