What the job involves

Play a key role in leading our frontend tech stack and architecture to support fast iteration and high quality. Be the go-to person for one or multiple teams as they design and implement new systems/features
Work closely with other engineers, product managers, and designers to collaborate on the features that will help our users better navigate the world of autism care
Design and implement web applications that support our families, providers, and Elemy administrators
Uphold standards for quality by performing code reviews, fixing bugs, creating automated tests, and monitoring performance
We are looking for back-end engineers who can contribute to building easy to use tools for our families, providers, and administrators

Our take

Existing autism diagnoses take an average of 18 months, but the earlier that an official diagnosis is provided, the earlier professional help can be provided. Moreover, autism treatment programs are often uniform and standardized, an approach that simply doesn't work with a disorder that is different for every person.

Elemy (formerly known as Sprout Therapy) provides customized treatment plans for children with autism and other developmental issues by matching them with therapists who can provide specialist and bespoke care both online and in-home. Diagnosis screenings are provided for free with results provided as soon as five days later. At this point, Elemy therapists observe the children at home, customize a care plan and provide required tools for success to the families.

Awareness of childhood developmental disorders has risen over the years, yet Elemy has recognized that despite this, treatment remains antiquated and uniform. By providing bespoke care plans based on each child’s idiosyncrasies, the company aims to better prepare these children to live happy and successful lives.
