Role
Who you are
- Prior experience an analytics engineer, data analyst, or equivalent
- Passion for helping, dedicated to improving what’s broken, and a drive to build and have fun
- A track record of execution working both autonomously and collaboratively
- Experience with dbt and other tools within the modern data stack
- A desire to continually keep up with advancements in data (engineering, analytics, science) team practices
Desirable
- Experience with BI and reporting
- Knowledge of other programming languages, such as Python or R
What the job involves
- Utilize SQL, Python, Hex, and Git to build new analyses and maintain existing reporting
- Maintain and build out Hightouch Reverse ETL syncs, along with monitoring and reporting to help us better understand how our internal data is operating
- Explore and implement other integrations within the modern data stack
- Work with stakeholders to define, iterate, and measure core business metrics
- Build upon and document our data models in dbt to make it easier to understand our data, and easier to answer questions our stakeholders may have
- Help to define and improve our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale data infrastructure
