Who you are
- Proven experience in a technology leadership role with a strong background in software development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholder groups
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and deliver solutions that meet quality and timeline targets
- Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset
- High degree of professionalism and integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive information

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

What the job involves
- As a Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving our software solutions to new heights
- You will work closely with key stakeholders, including Product Managers and Designers, to ensure project goals align with business objectives
- Your leadership will foster a culture of engagement and collaboration within the team while maintaining high standards in engineering practices and producing high-quality software products
- This role reports to the Director of Engineering and leads a team of software engineers
- Dive into the world of aviation technology and contribute to exciting projects like advancing safety systems and creating the next generation of aviation software suite
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Designers to define and refine project scopes and deliverables
- Lead a team of software engineers, mentoring them and encouraging best practices in coding, design, and software engineering to drive the alignment of team goals with broader business objectives
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that promotes engagement and high performance
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions through rigorous development and testing practices
- Identify and address technical and logistical bottlenecks within products
- Serve as a technical expert and point of contact for stakeholder queries

TrustFlight develops intelligent workflow automation platforms and other tools with the aim of improving levels of efficiency and safety across the aviation sector. Currently, the company’s suite of products caters to maintenance programmes, technical support, tech and engine logs, and operational and equipment management.
It’s a slim sector to be operating in - and one would think it would pit TrustFlight head to head with a prohibitively strong slew of industry giants. TrustFlight, however, is seeing good growth - and has even partnered with the likes of Boeing to bring blockchain verification methods to aviation supply chains.
This integration of sourcing and the blockchain is proving a smart and lucrative bet across various industries, given the tightening regulatory focus on promoting supply chain oversight. It’s just one example of how TrustFlight is leveraging its deeptech expertise to digitally transform aviation.
