Who you are
- Currently pursuing a degree in IT or a related field or comparable qualifications with relevant professional experience
- Proven experience in administration and support of Windows and Mac operating systems and hardware
- Familiarity with MS365 administration preferred; proficiency with other enterprise applications is a plus
- Interest in IT security topics (security hardening, antivirus solutions, encryption, etc)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills with fluency in both English and German (written and spoken)
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
What the job involves
- We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic IT Assistant to join our dynamic team at Hypatos. This role is crucial in maintaining and improving our IT infrastructure while providing exceptional support to our employees
- Provide computer hardware and software troubleshooting and support
- Manage and maintain our MS365 environment
- Deliver internal user support for Hypatos employees on Line-of-Business applications, including:
- Microsoft Office suite
- Jira/Confluence
- Salesforce
- Other business-critical applications
- Actively participate in IT consulting and strategy planning sessions
- Assist with hardware inventory management and tracking
- Implement and maintain IT security measures
- Contribute to documentation of IT processes and procedures
