Role
Who you are
- Cityblock is looking for a copywriter with 5+ years of experience to join our small but dynamic creative team
- Expertise in writing marketing materials for print, social media, digital channels and video
- Portfolio should demonstrate a strong sense of empathy and humanity
- Experience in medical writing and health literacy preferred
- Ability to follow a brand tone and voice
- Be a self-starter, motivated, team-oriented and most importantly, empathetic
- Alignment with Cityblock’s core values and mission
What the job involves
- This role will support the marketing, creative and engagements teams in creating and writing materials for our members, providers, partners, as well as internal communications as needed
- This role is part of the Creative Team and will directly report to our Copy Lead and ultimately to our Executive Creative Director
- Own or support marketing and engagement projects in writing letters, mailers, website, social media, digital, and video
- Own or support communication asks from central marketing and engagement team as well as individual markets
- Collaborate closely with members of the design and creative team
- Collaborate closely with marketing, comms and engagement teams
- Collaborate closely with digital team for all cityblock.com needs
- Collaborate with outside vendors or contractors on an as-needed basis
