Who you are
- If you have sales experience in SaaS and/or events, a track record of crushing outbound quotas, and love the thrill of building pipeline and challenging the status quo, this is the place for you
- 1-2+ years of experience in an outbound BDR/SDR role, ideally in SaaS or Events/Martech
- Proven success generating meetings with Enterprise companies and high-level stakeholders
- Experience with video selling (Loom, Vidyard, etc.) and social selling (LinkedIn, SalesNav)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages
- Grit, curiosity, and a competitive edge - you love to win and hate to settle
- A bias for action, and the energy to lift your team while pushing yourself beyond the bar
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a high-performing, high-energy Business Development Representative with proven experience in outbound sales to join our fast-growing GTM team
- You’ll be responsible for generating qualified meetings with senior decision-makers at Enterprise-level accounts
- This isn’t your average BDR role - you’ll be part of a team reshaping how brands run in-person, virtual, and hybrid event experiences
- Own top-of-funnel pipeline generation through strategic outbound campaigns, including email, calling, video, and social selling
- Conduct discovery and qualification calls for both outbound-sourced and inbound demo requests
- Execute prospecting and account mapping to identify key personas and buying committees
- Partner closely with Account Executives and Marketing on ABM strategies and outbound messaging
- Become an expert in event technology and how Bizzabo drives measurable business impact for our clients
- Consistently achieve and exceed weekly/monthly activity targets and SAL quotas
Our take
Recent years have seen a big shift toward hybrid events, blending in-person and virtual events. The appeal is obvious: they're often more flexible and more cost-effective than traditional events. But they also come with new challenges, especially around keeping attendees engaged and helping them navigate busy agendas and unfamiliar venues. As expectations rise, even organizers are under more pressure to deliver personalized, seamless experiences at scale.
Bizzabo has evolved alongside this shift, in what began as a platform for managing event logistics (like websites, ticketing, networking), has grown into its Event Experience OS, a data-driven system designed to help organizers run events end-to-end. Its latest addition, Bizzy, is an AI-powered attendee "copilot" built into its mobile app. It acts as a personal concierge, giving attendees real-time, tailored answers about schedules, sessions, speakers, and even who to connect with, making large events feel much easier to navigate.
This move into AI-powered personalization shows where Bizzabo is heading next. Bizzy not only improves the attendee experience but also reduces pressure of event teams by handling common questions automatically. Combined with continued product development and strong industry recognition, it shows the company is doubling down on smarter, more personalized events.
