What the job involves
- As our Senior Director of Buying and Brand Partnerships, you will be leading, directing and managing all aspects of the commercial and media partnerships and driving revenue and margin growth through business development and account management of partnership relationships. The role of Senior Director of Brands Partnerships is critical to the development and implementation of Threads partnerships across all BUs and ensuring the integrated commercial success of these partnerships
- The Senior Director of Buying & Brand Partnerships will report to the Chief Commercial Officer. The successful candidate will have worked in luxury retail/ecommerce previously with experience in buying and managing Designer brands as well as other categories such as Contemporary and Jewelery. They will have a vast network in the industry and will have managed and developed a team, and have a proven track record of negotiating deals, growing a business, and hitting KPIs and targets
- Partner with Commercial Director on the development of the commercial strategy and resultant range plan to drive sales growth and achievement of margin targets
- Be an active voice in driving a trading mindset across the business to achieve sales results and margin targets
- Identify and establish key industry partnerships that set Threads apart as a luxury retailer aligned to the commercial strategy
- Assess when to pause or stop a partnership based on commercial, cultural or business reasons
- Work collaboratively across the company to drive implementation of the commercial strategy to meet company margin targets
- Define and hit brand & product margin targets in partnership with CCO and CFO aligned to the commercial and financial plan
- Work on campaign strategies in partnership with SVP of Marketing with the aim of drive conversion and sales across all regions
- Understand the different markets and business models to implement brand operational strategy & tactics aligned to the commercial vision
- Own the vision & roadmap for scaling Brands
