Role
Who you are
- Customer-facing experience in a B2B environment, preferably in a technology-related field
- Experience as a project manager handling competing priorities and tight deadlines
- Consumer panels and online market research experience is an asset
- Experience with respondent sampling and questionnaires building is a plus
- You thrive in an extremely fast-paced environment
- You are results-driven and autonomous
- You have excellent judgment and an ability to resolve conflict quickly and efficiently
- You are resourceful, with a demonstrated ability to anticipate change and proactively adjust priorities and strategies accordingly
- You are comfortable managing simultaneously multiple customers who are at different points on the customer journey
- You excel at cultivating strong relationships with service providers and customers
- You have great communication skills
- You are solution-oriented and demonstrate proactive, committed customer support, even in challenging situations
What the job involves
- Manage Online Market Research projects, from signature to final data delivery to clients
- Understand, precisely clients’ needs in order to design their projects and find the best solutions for them based on their objectives
- Transfer clients’ needs to internal and external teams/stakeholders : Insights Team, Survey Programming team, fieldwork/sampling team etc.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients during the operational phase of a project: Kick-off call, progress updates, final data delivery
- Follow projects progress and proactively keep clients informed
- Maximize customer satisfaction
- Promote the Potloc data visualization App, to answer as much as possible to clients’ needs
- Drive innovation by offering new features and processes thanks to clients’ feedbacks

Our take
Potloc originated as a game between its co-founders, who would bet on their predictions of whether businesses in their neighborhood would thrive or fail. As their predictions were nearly perfectly accurate, they realized that local intelligence was key to understanding business outcomes. Potloc developed to gather and analyse this local intelligence on a global scale by analysing data provided by hundreds of thousands of people online.
Though Potloc uses social media to reach its respondents, it does not buy data from Facebook, instead focusing on targeted advertising and careful survey design to ensure that the right people are reached and choose to respond. While numerous companies carry out market analysis, Potloc's focus on the respondent's experience is refreshing and helps it stand out in a crowded field, and this has helped it attain some very large clients, including Decathlon, Nielsen, KPMG and L'Oréal.
Having secured an additional round of funding in 2022, Potloc now intends to expand into the North American and European markets and to further invest in its machine learning data analysis technology. It is also looking to acquire more talent, greatly boosting its workforce as part of its development.
