Who you are
- The ideal candidate will have a track record of executing, measuring, and reporting on field programs and events that drive brand awareness, engagement, and ultimately, translate into pipeline and revenue
- This role requires a blend of creative thinking, project management and problem solving skills, and an understanding of marketing principles with a focus on both physical and online/virtual events
- 5-7 years of field marketing/marketing programs experience in B2B tech with a proven track record of executing successful programs to deliver pipeline and revenue
- Strong project management with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and operate in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including knowing how and what to communicate to different stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, draw actionable insights, and make recommendations/decisions based on data
- Proficiency in online event management technology (e.g. GoToWebinar), as well as Google Sheets
- Flexibility to travel up to 25% of the time including occasional nights and weekends
- Basic experience with Salesforce.com
What the job involves
- The Sr. Field Marketing manager is a key member of the demand marketing team, reporting to the Sr. Director of Demand Generation
- You’ll manage logistics on everything from large trade shows to smaller roadshows, meetups, roundtables, and executive dinners as well as webinars
- Build and execute field marketing programs and events with a strong focus generating leads, driving conversions and helping meeting the NA sales teams’ pipeline goals
- Work hand in hand with NA sales leader and sales team to ensure alignment on marketing initiatives as well as drive a coordinated GTM motion
- Plan and execute a diverse range of events to meet those goals including trade shows, regional summits, roadshows, executive dinners, roundtables, and meetups, sometimes in coordination with partners like AWS
- Handle end-to-end event management including logistics, vendor/venue selection, registration, promotion, lead management and follow up, and results reporting
- Ensure timelines, deliverables, and critical deadlines are communicated, tracked, and met
- Use data-driven insights to continually refine and enhance the effectiveness of future events and track key performance metrics
- Act as brand ambassador at events, representing the company and effectively communicating our value proposition
- Create SFDC campaigns for events, handle list uploads, and track pipeline attribution for events you manage
- Manage all aspects of event and program budgets

Aerospike is a high speed data platform that promises to reduce server footprints by up to 80%. Aimed at satisfying large-scale data platform requirements, clients include PayPal, Verizon Media, European Central Bank, and Snap Inc.
While there are other data platforms available such as DataStax, Redis Labs and Couchbase, Aerospike sets itself apart through offering no trade off between cost and a high level of performance and consistency on a large scale.
As massive petabyte data sets become the norm for large businesses, Aerospike realises the need for systems that can handle this in real-time. Its release of Aerospike Connect brings connectivity of Aerospike Database 5 with a range of big-name open-source frameworks such Apache Spark, Presto, Pulsar, Kafka and JMS - making Aerospike products more useful to a wider client set. Impressive Series E funding awarded in 2024 will be used to further develop its AI capabilities, specifically around graph and vector functions, capitalising on the current boom in the machine learning sector.
