Associate Director of Product Management, Guidehouse

• Guidehouse’s Solution Engineering and Architecture Services group is seeking a dynamic and innovative Product Manager to oversee vision, strategy, discovery, delivery and performance of our cloud platform that enables data professionals (users) to develop client applications and solutions
• This is a new initiative for our company and this leader should be excited and have experience scaling platforms for development, including establishing a Center of Excellence within the IT cloud infrastructure space
• Requires a University Degree and a minimum of 8-10 years of industry work experience in an IT, product management, or software-related field, with people management experience
• Experience in managing product life cycles, formulating strategy, and executing product roadmaps
• Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across the organization and motivate others towards shared goals
• User-first product management approach and results-oriented personality
• Proactive problem-solver, able to identify impediments/roadblocks and track them to closure
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver effective presentations

• As the product lead, this person will also work with a high-performing cross-functional team, and should be seasoned and/or technical with a passion for building capabilities that enable its users to thrive
• Be on the ground floor to help set the culture and strategy for a new product group and vision; collaborate across teams and create alignment between all parties involved
• Iterate on a new business model for the company and establish a Center of Excellence that promotes best practices and ensures consistency across client applications and solutions built on the new platform
• Build, lead and manage a product team as we grow, providing leadership, mentorship, and constructive feedback on project performance as well as fostering career development and growth
• Create roadmap, define product and features that drive value, and assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of a dedicated cross-functional team including discovering and managing an impactful backlog
• Drive product and features through the entire lifecycle: discovery, ideation, prototyping, planning and specification, development, release, metrics, and iteration
• Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on roadmap, risks and KPIs; work with stakeholders to identify opportunities that may result in revenue growth and/or reflect user needs
• Be the voice of the user and promote a culture of user-focused product initiatives and continuous improvements, governed by best practices and low-friction administration
• Maintain and update all product specs and project plan documentation from initiation to execution
• Help the team scale through operational excellence; from planning, technical documentation, team management to communication processes, and ensure team compliance with company-wide policies and practices
• Manage billing codes, budgets related to various initiatives, and coordinate training and social events for team members
