Role
Who you are
- 3+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, financial advisory or financial planning/analytics in a high-growth startup
- Expertise in Excel, with strong financial modeling and data visualization skills
- You are extremely detail-oriented and well organized with strong written and verbal communication skills
- You are a problem solver who is able to work independently, with minimal guidance
- Bonus points for knowledge of SaaS metrics and U.S. GAAP
What the job involves
- You will play a key role in a lean finance team, supporting ongoing strategic and tactical business planning in a rapidly growing technology firm
- You will apply your expertise in financial modeling and analytics to ensure informed decision making by Senior Leadership and other internal stakeholders
- You will manage the Company’s operating model, track KPIs, build budgets and business scenarios, draft presentations and collaborate with various teams throughout the organization
- This high visibility role will report directly to the VP of Finance
- Collaborate with VP of Finance to maintain and improve the Company’s operating model, including ongoing analysis of underlying assumptions
- Assist senior leadership with development of budgets and long-term business plans
- Manage various analytical projects for to assist with senior leadership decision-making
- Oversee calculation and tracking of KPIs
- Lead the monthly BvA analyses
- Collaborate with the Accounting team to prepare monthly financial reporting package
- Prepare presentations for senior leadership and the Board of Directors
- Evaluate new tools for improvement and optimization of internal processes

Allowing clients to run more effective advertising and marketing campaigns by leveraging social influence, or word of mouth, which Applecart believes is the most powerful motivator.
Initially focused on political campaigns, Applecart worked to increase voter engagement and turnout. However, in recent years, it has expanded into commercial work, partnering with organizations such as Boeing and nonprofits like The Business Roundtable.
A key backer of Applecart is Ari Emanuel, CEO of Endeavor, a global entertainment and media agency that owns the UFC. While its unclear if the UFC is currently a client, Emanuel's involvement signals the high-profile clients Applecart is now attracting.
