Who you are
- To conform with the United States Government Space Technology Export Regulations, the applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., conditional resident, asylee or refugee (protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Engineering, Business, or Math. MBA degree strongly preferred

- You are comfortable balancing multiple complex workstreams in parallel
- Ability to bring a measured, data-driven approach to a range of high-priority and high-impact projects

What the job involves
- We are looking to add a Strategy Analyst to our team
- In this role you will support senior leadership in the development of corporate strategies including M&A ideation/analysis/execution; capital raise transactions and other special situations; market analysis; legislative strategy; formation and management of international entities
- The Strategy Analyst will work cross-functionally, in collaboration with CesiumAstro’s leadership team, to achieve strategic goals across many aspects of our high-growth business
- They will assist in all stages of strategy development, from inception thorough execution and closure
- Serve as a resource to the leadership team on various operational and strategic matters
- The work is highly collaborative and engaging, though it also requires independent execution
- The Strategy Analyst operates at the intersection of several disciplines and will have the ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment that exposes them to a variety of experiences. No two days are the same
- This opportunity is in-person at our west Austin, Texas headquarters
Our take
CesiumAstro is a startup specializing in phased array communications for aerospace applications. It manufactures antennas that support in-flight connectivity and satellite communications, addressing the significant data transfer needs of AI and autonomous vehicles.
This type of communication support is vital nowadays, when the transfer of massive amounts of data is mission-critical. The company's first antenna flew in 2023 as part of a payload for defense contractor CACI International. CesiumAstro also secured a lucrative subcontract with RocketLab to provide antennas for the Space Development Agency.
CesiumAstro has secured immense funding over the years, including a record $200 million in government financing in 2026. This investment continues to support the company's growth, R&D and manufacturing goals. It comes alongside an expansion of operations which sees CesiumAstro supporting national security.
