- Full-Cycle, High-Volume Recruiting: Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting, ideally in hospitality or high-growth environments, with a track record of managing 10+ positions concurrently
- HR/Recruitment Systems Expertise: Proficiency in HR and Recruitment Systems
- Proactive & Adaptable: Demonstrates a proactive mindset and ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Strong Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication, with a collaborative approach

What the job involves
- We are seeking a talented and experienced Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join our People & Culture team as we continue to grow
- As Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you will serve as a strategic talent advisor, overseeing end-to-end recruitment processes and serving as the primary liaison for designated regions and functions
- Cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships with hiring managers to grasp their business objectives, anticipate staffing needs, and offer solutions and resources
- Provide guidance to hiring managers on effective talent assessment and hiring strategies, with a focus on diversifying the workforce
- Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract top-tier candidates
- Source, screen, and assess potential candidates, building a robust talent pipeline for current and future positions
- Conduct proactive research to identify talent pools in emerging markets
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market changes, and compensation benchmarks to inform recruitment strategies
- Analyze recruitment data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of optimization, and apply insights to enhance recruitment effectiveness
- Ensure data integrity across all recruiting platforms, including Greenhouse (Applicant Tracking System)
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives to enhance Convene's reputation as an employer of choice
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the candidate experience
- Provide an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, serving as the primary point of contact for candidates and keeping them informed at every stage
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all Convene products and services
- Extend job offers to selected candidates, negotiate compensation packages within established guidelines, and ensure a seamless transition from offer acceptance to onboarding
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams, ensuring a smooth and efficient interview process for all parties involved

Our take
Convene provides co-working space and meeting locations inside office buildings. It was founded to change the way people meet and work, and also to revolutionise how office buildings offered hospitality services to tenants.
Convene's revenue decreased by over 60% in 2020, after the pandemic disrupted its in-person events. In response to this, the company has diversified into the video meetings market. It hosts virtual and hybrid events that more closely resemble the feeling of attending a live business conference. Users can attend the conferences online and interact with the speakers, the hosts, and other attendees in private video chats.
Convene has done well to navigate the macro challenges and reinvent itself, but there will be more challenges to come; Convene also operates in a market with big players, such as Zoom. However, in 2023, the company acquired etc.venues, widening Convene's net to the UK and establishing it as one of the largest premium and event venue companies in the US and UK with 38 locations across the two countries. The goal now is to generate a revenue of $100 million a year by 2025 and it hopes its virtual operations will form a larger percentage of this.
