Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; five (5) years of experience may be substituted in lieu of education and master’s degree in relevant field a preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year of relevant management experience; ADHC/PACE/Health Plan/Clinic operations a plus with demonstrated experience working with elderly living at home
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience within a senior or health care program preferred
- Professional experience in a relevant field such as Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, or Occupational or Physical Therapy preferred
- Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire and maintain certification thereafter; CPR and First Aid certification upon hire preferred
What the job involves
- Reporting to the Center Director, the Day Center Manager is a member of the WelbeHealth management team, also spearheading engagement and personal care services
- Accountable for the delivery of high-quality nutrition, kitchen, reception, engagement, and personal care services to ensure participants are uniquely cared for
- In coordination with the Engagement Supervisor and Day Center Coordinator, manage nutrition, engagement, personal care, housekeeping, and front desk reception operations, including hiring, training, monitoring, and mentoring staff and ensuring clear and effective workflows
- Collaborate with Center Director to plan and facilitate effective interdisciplinary team (IDT) and other participant-care related meetings, ensuring they are organized and engaging, and that follow-up items are documented and tracked
- Coordinate and assist with WelbeHealth physical plant, supplies and equipment management, which includes monitoring and coordinating all ongoing maintenance and vendor oversight, as well as ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming physical environment for participants, staff, and visitors
- Oversee the engagement department assessments and interventions to assure regulatory compliance and timely documentation
