Role
Who you are
- Cube is looking for an in-house Graphic Designer who can do it all — from static visuals and presentation design to animation, motion graphics, and video editing
- This is a hands-on role for a nimble creative who’s as comfortable polishing a brand deck as they are animating a product teaser video or concepting a social ad
- You’re energized by variety, thrive in fast-paced creative environments, and love finding new ways to make a B2B brand feel bold and human
- Multi-disciplinary design expertise: You have a proven track record in both static and motion design, with strong conceptual and executional skills
- Technical proficiency: Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere) and/or Figma. Bonus points for experience in motion tools like After Effects or AI design tools
- Video editing chops: You’re comfortable with editing, color grading, sound balancing, and optimizing content for multiple platforms
- Presentation design excellence: You can make a company deck look as polished as a campaign ad, with an eye for hierarchy, flow, and visual storytelling
- Brand fluency: You understand how to work within — and expand — brand systems, ensuring cohesion across touchpoints
- Creative curiosity: You’re constantly learning, experimenting, and looking for ways to elevate design quality and impact
- Collaborative mindset: You thrive when working cross-functionally and enjoy being part of a team that moves fast and thinks big

What the job involves
- You’ll be the visual heartbeat of Cube’s brand, translating ideas into engaging, on-brand creative that inspires, informs, and connects
- You’ll sit at the intersection of brand, marketing, and storytelling — helping us bring Cube to life across campaigns, website, product launches, sales enablement, and internal culture moments
- You’ll join a collaborative marketing team that values experimentation, iteration, and design that doesn’t just look good — it works hard
- Your impact will be visible every day, across the assets, channels, and campaigns that tell the Cube story to the world
- This role will create high-quality visuals for campaigns, product launches, and brand storytelling across digital and print
- Design assets for web, email, paid ads, events, and organic social media
- Produce and maintain internal and external decks — from investor presentations to company-wide all-hands
- Help evolve Cube’s visual identity, ensuring our design system is consistent, flexible, and inspiring across all channels
- Uphold brand standards while pushing creative boundaries — helping Cube look fresh, modern, and distinctly “us.”
- Concept and produce short-form videos and animations to bring product features, customer stories, and campaigns to life
- Edit raw footage into polished videos for marketing, events, and internal communications
- Develop motion graphics and animated assets that enhance storytelling across digital and social channels
- Collaborate with copywriters and marketers to craft compelling narratives that blend motion, sound, and design
- Partner closely with marketing, product, and go-to-market teams to understand creative needs and deliver effective solutions
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing quality and speed in a dynamic environment
- Implement efficient creative workflows, maintaining an organized library of brand assets and templates
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions, bringing fresh visual ideas and energy to campaign concepts
- Use feedback as a tool for iteration and continuous improvement — your work will evolve quickly, and that’s part of the fun
- Stay up-to-date on design, motion, and video trends — bringing new ideas and technologies (including AI tools) to the table
- Experiment with new design formats, content styles, and storytelling approaches to keep Cube’s creative cutting-edge
- Share your creative knowledge with the team, helping raise the bar for visual communication across the company
Our take
The uncertainty, shocks, and changes faced by organizations across the board over recent years has shone a spotlight on the importance of detailed financial planning and analysis (FP&A). It’s precipitated a change in what tools companies use, too - traditional use of excel spreadsheets doesn’t always cut it in terms of efficiency and ease-of use. FP&A startup Cube is hoping to offer a solution.
Instead of looking to replace the spreadsheet with specialist software, like startups Centage and Limelight are shooting for, Cube’s approach is different. The company is banking on customers looking for a faster, more powerful solution, but one that nevertheless retains the familiarity of excel - and its easy-integration with other areas of business operations. The result is a excel-compatible, spreadsheet bi-directional product with enhanced planning features like automated data consolidation, multi-scenario analysis, and drilldown audit trail capabilities.
Investors are betting on Cube’s approach proving popular. Cube has attracted some impressive funding, and the addressable market is potentially huge; for a relatively young startup, Cube has seen good growth with a unique product.
