Role
Who you are
- You have used Python extensively in production projects, building products and services
- You have advanced knowledge of working with MySQL, REST-APIs, and open-source projects
- You possess an in-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
- You have the ability to be hands-on when needed, but you also have the experience to lead on technical architecture/product architecture decisions
- You have the ability to switch and prioritize tasks using your own initiative
- You have excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills
- You have completed a master’s/bachelor’s degree, preferably in an information technology field
Desirable
- Knowledge of modern data architectures and related tools, such as DBT, Airflow, or the Singer framework
What the job involves
- Work closely with the integration and orchestration team
- Evaluate, plan, implement, and deploy new features
- Profile, benchmark, and monitor the application’s performance
- Mentor your team to write clean code to develop functional web applications
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Communicate, collaborate, and work closely with the Engineering and Product teams

However, existing services such as Fivetran, Airbyte and Tableau are difficult for non-technical users to access and require the use of multiple services.
Y42 aims to provide users with a single data platform that can replace the need for various tools to integrate, transform, orchestrate and visualise their data. Its customers include the likes of LifeMD, Petlab and Everdrop.
The company plans to use recent funding to accelerate the development of its platform, scale its team and expand its go-to-market efforts.
