Our take

Vungle is on a mission to deliver the highest value users through optimized and engaging ads. Their in-app video platform allows developers to monetize their game or app through their SDK, as well as promotion on a performance model by paying for installs, or in-app actions. Keeping marketers in the driving seat for calibrating a high ROI, Vungle charge on a cost-per-action basis.

Acquired by Blackstone in 2019, Vungle has some weight behind them which has assisted with the recent acquisition of influencer marketing platform JetFuel. It's a smart move, in that every creator in the JetFuel economy is a chance to expand Vungles reach for advertisers into social channels.

The global influencer marketing industry is expected to reach $13.8 billion in 2021, and Vungle is poised to take a slice of that huge pie. With access to JetFuel's 15,000 fully verified influencers as well as a combined reach of over 5 billion Instagram and TikTok users, they are cleverly capitalising on eMarketer’s most recent estimates that 68% of US marketers will use influencer campaigns this year.
