We are creating new ways to empower and entertain the global community of athletes by placing Strava at the center of our ecosystem - devices, digital fitness apps, content, connected equipment, gyms, and more. We are passionate about bringing new and meaningful experiences to athletes doing what they love
- As the Senior Partner Manager, Connected Partnerships, you will be responsible for the technical aspect of driving Stava’s success globally through partnership and product, through our External API and innovative integrations
- You will:
- Identify and integrate new strategic partners helping put Strava at the center of connected fitness
- Cultivate strong relationships with our key partners and build a deep understanding and connection across all relevant teams within the partners' org
- Seek new ways to activate and deepen our current partnerships to help grow the number of athletes integrated to Strava
- Partner with Product Marketing to help build successful go-to-market campaigns for new features or integration moments
- Work closely with Product and Engineering to identify new opportunities and be the liaison with the partner to bring those to fruition
- Triage and communicate issues with Partners integrations, with a keen sense of when to escalate internally + externally and with the appropriate level of criticality
- Having a strategic mentality and a knack for driving stakeholders to consensus on important issues
- Being self-directed, results-oriented, and comfortable working in ambiguous and dynamic environments
- Exhibiting a comfortable approach to working across cross-functional teams and being able to creatively problem-solve
- Working in a highly-organized manner, being capable of managing multiple projects at once and prioritizing among many opportunities
- Possessing excellent written, oral communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Listening skillfully, modeling optimism and embodying our ABCs
Our take
Strava has created an online network where runners, swimmers and cyclists can record fitness activities, and compare and compete with their community. It offers both a free and premium subscription service with added features. The company also partners with local councils and urban planners who purchase valuable journey data from Strava which can be used to map out cities and develop safer cycle paths.
The platform helps members discover and plan workouts, as well as offering a leaderboard which is updated using GPS as users compete for the top spot on particular fitness segments.
With over 125 million athletes and growing, Strava released several new product rollouts in 2024, including an AI-enabled leaderboard. A partnership with the wearable fitness tracker Oura will mean Strava software is available on wearables, taking Strava into fresh competition with the likes of Peloton and Apple.
