Machine Learning Engineer Intern, Quora

• Availability for meetings and impromptu communication during Quora's “coordination hours" (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time)
• Currently pursuing a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field at a Canadian University
• Knowledge of Python or C++, or the ability to learn them quickly Knowledge of integrating and deploying LLMs

• Love of the Quora and/or the Poe product

• This role will be working on our Poe product
• This internship will run for 16 weeks beginning in January
• A Quora internship is not an ordinary internship
• There's no busy work

• This role will participate in developing cutting-edge LLM applications including but not limited to information retrieval, search and discovery, multi-bot agents, ensuring smooth and engaging user experiences
• Participate in a wide variety of Applied AI activities, including refining and optimizing prompting, incorporating new LLM capabilities (such as function calling, tool use, etc) to improve the outcome of LLM
