Who you are
- Minimum of 7 years experience in a creative and/or strategy role
- Minimum of 3 years influencer marketing experience
- A digital native with a history of delivering socially led branded content
- Experience building, designing and leading deck building
- Experience sourcing indicative creators
- Previous experience working in casual dining and QSR
- On the pulse of internet culture, especially around the casual dining and QSR space
- Solid communication, organizational and time-management skills
- Strong ability to distill complex client problems into strategically focussed influencer briefs
- Comfortable communicating with senior stakeholders both internally and externally
- Ability to manage competing priorities and workloads
- High energy and results focused (short-term and long-term vision)
- Collaborative spirit, able to work across many functions and build rapport quickly
What the job involves
- This role reports to the VP of Strategy, Media & Production
- We are seeking an Associate Director of Creative Strategy to join our Creative strategy team, focusing on evergreen client initiatives and direct client relationships within the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) and casual dining categories
- This role is responsible for delivering best-in-class creative work informed by deep category insight, consumer trends, and social-first storytelling
- The ideal candidate is a seasoned Associate Director with experience with a client-facing leadership role, taking full ownership of account needs with greater autonomy
- You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, seamlessly blending strategic vision with creative execution to deliver standout campaigns and always-on content that keep QSR and casual dining brands top-of-mind year-round
- As the day-to-day lead, you’ll work directly with clients to translate business goals into bold, influencer-led ideas that resonate culturally and drive measurable impact
- Be the go-to creative partner for major QSR and casual dining brands, shaping their evergreen influencer strategy
- Autonomy to partner directly with client teams, building trusted relationships that foster long-term impact.
- Blend strategic insight, trendspotting, and creative thinking to deliver ideas that drive both brand love and foot traffic
- In the first few months, you would have:
- Have a full understanding of Influencer’s capabilities, offerings, and how they apply to QSR and casual dining brands
- Lead evergreen content planning for key accounts, from ideation to presentation, in collaboration with client marketing teams
- Deliver creator strategies and concepts that resonate with both national and local audiences
- Build strong working relationships with both internal teams and client stakeholders, becoming a trusted extension of their marketing departments
- Lead pre-sale RFPs with key internal stakeholders
- Work closely with the VP and Creative Strategy team and account leads to define and elevate our QSR & casual dining creative approach
- Interpret client briefs for always-on and seasonal initiatives, leading internal brainstorms and client-facing creative workshops
- Develop and manage direct relationships with clients, ensuring creative output consistently aligns with brand guidelines and KPIs
- Lead the creative and strategic development of influencer campaigns that maximize both paid and organic reach
- Demonstrate expertise across social-first content executions, particularly on Meta, Snap, TikTok, and YouTube, with a clear understanding of how to activate in the QSR space
- Stay ahead of food, dining, and cultural trends that can inform campaign creative
- Oversee creator sourcing strategies that balance brand fit, audience targeting, and content quality
- Present concepts and strategies confidently to senior client stakeholders
- Develop and manage relationships with internal teams and build a deep relationship with the sales team
- Represent Influencer across key IAT stakeholder meetings, presentations, and events
- Have a deep understanding of influencer marketing and the way in which brands can leverage influencer content across to deliver outcomes across the sales funnel
