Who you are
- If you’re the kind of person who gets restless when things move slowly, loves turning complex ideas into simple, powerful stories, and enjoys a mix of creative chaos and clear strategy, you’ll fit right in
- 4 to 8 years in marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS, fintech, or financial services
- A natural storyteller who can turn technical concepts into confident, compelling narratives
- A track record of campaigns that delivered measurable results
- Equal comfort in building strategy and getting hands-on with execution
- Strong writing instincts and creative judgement; you know what good looks like
- Commercial awareness and curiosity about how enterprise buying decisions really happen
- Comfortable working independently in a small, ambitious team
- Familiar with tools like HubSpot, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, and CMS platforms

What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to help us tell our story and make sure the entire industry knows who we are, what we do, and why we’re impossible to ignore
- You’ll be the voice behind Mast’s brand, shaping how we show up, driving awareness, and helping us stand out in a world drowning in boring, redundant messaging
- One week you might be writing a sharp, thought-provoking piece on digital transformation in lending. The next you could be launching a new product or putting Mast on stage at an industry event
- Build and run Mast’s marketing strategy across brand, content, digital, and events
- Create campaigns that drive real impact, not vanity metrics
- Write content that cuts through the noise: case studies, articles, newsletters (The Mast Blast), social posts, and website copy that people actually want to read
- Make Mast’s brand unmissable across LinkedIn, industry press, and key events
- Partner with the commercial team to create materials that open doors and win clients
- Lead PR and media activity including awards, press coverage, and speaking opportunities that put Mast in the spotlight
- Track results, learn fast, and double down on what works
- Manage agencies and freelancers when needed, keeping everything lean, fast, and effective
- Mast is transforming how banks lend, and this role will define how we tell that story. You’ll work directly with the founders, have a clear voice in how we grow, and see your work influence the market in real time
- You’ll help us define what modern lending looks like for the next decade

Our take
Digitisation within the mortgage industry has been slow, with many lenders still relying on paper based processes. Mast provides cloud-native technology to help mortgage lenders save costs, underwrite more applications and deliver new levels of service. Their products allow lenders to operate more efficiently, react faster to changing market conditions, and focus on offering the best service possible.
The platform allows lenders to improve the origination process and increase conversions while delivering a top-class service, enabling faster lending decisions. In late 2021 Mast announced a partnership with MBS Lending, a subsidiary of the Melton Building Society to launch an online mortgage application portal. As MBS is the first lender to adopt the Mast broker portal the success of the partnership will prove pivotal for Mast's long term prospects.
