Who you are

- MBA or MS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Engineering, Business, or Math is required from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 4 years’ experience supporting and leading strategy development and projects including M&A
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- You thrive in an entrepreneurial environment; you are proactive, a self-starter, and thrive in ambiguity
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative and engaging environment, as well as execute independent projects
- You are comfortable balancing multiple complex workstreams in parallel
- Ability to bring a measured, data-driven approach to a range of high-priority and high-impact projects

What the job involves
- We are looking to add a Manager of Strategy & Corporate Development to our team
- In this role you will support senior leadership in the development of corporate strategies including M&A ideation/analysis/execution; capital raise transactions and other special situations; market analysis; legislative strategy; formation and management of international entities
- Work cross-functionally, in collaboration with CesiumAstro’s leadership team, to achieve strategic goals across many aspects of our high-growth business
- Manage and coordinate all stages of strategy development, from inception thorough execution and closure. Areas of focus will include M&A, capital formation, congressional and other political engagements, and international strategy / partnerships
- Conduct market and competitor research, identify opportunities and synthesize market and other research information to identify industry trends
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models for industry, peers and macroeconomic analysis
- Serve as a resource to the leadership team on various operational and strategic matters
- The Strategy Analyst operates at the intersection of several disciplines and will have the ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment that exposes them to a variety of experiences. No two days are the same
- Support investor relations

Our take
CesiumAstro is a startup specializing in phased array communications for aerospace applications. It manufactures antennas that support in-flight connectivity and satellite communications, addressing the significant data transfer needs of AI and autonomous vehicles.
This type of communication support is vital nowadays, when the transfer of massive amounts of data is mission-critical. The company's first antenna flew in 2023 as part of a payload for defense contractor CACI International. Plus, it secured a lucrative subcontract with RocketLab to provide antennas for the Space Development Agency.
In 2024, CesiumAstro secured funding that brought its total equity to over $150 million. This investment will fuel the company's expansion, R&D and manufacturing goals. With plans to grow its team and develop new technology, CesiumAstro seems set for continued growth.
