Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Information Systems, HR Management, or equivalent experience as HR DataSystems Analyst or Administrator or similar required
- 2 - 4 years of experience working with HR data or similar data, maintaining data structures, and writing reports/dashboards, or graduate degree in software and information systems, specifically HRIS, LMS (learning management systems) and ATS (applicant tracking systems), preferably with Workday, FivetranWorkato, EIB, and PowerBI (or similar BI tools)
- Deep Excel skills and the use of database management tools and query languages preferred
- Ability to meet deadlines with projects and assignments
- Ability to learn and support new technologies and train others
- An ability to work in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment
- Excellent decision making and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent written, interpersonal, and communication skills
- All roles with Chainlink Labs are global and remote-based. Unless otherwise stated, we ask that you try to overlap some working hours with Eastern Standard Time (EST)
What the job involves
- The HR Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining the People department’s data structures as well as creating and delivering analytics with insights. This role will be an opportunity to define best practices for storing and maintaining data, reporting workforce analytics throughout the company, and provide meaningful insights to help steer decision making
- Work with our HRIS Analyst and HRIS Integrations Analyst to optimize our reporting capabilities and automations
- Maintain the People department’s data structure and find opportunities to improve it
- Troubleshoot operating problems related to HR data and systems, identifying root causes and providing solutions or escalating to appropriate subject matter experts
- Conduct testing of systems and processes to ensure smooth, error-free operations
- Ensure open dialogue regarding HRIS issues, best practices, updates, etc. to and from stakeholders
- Assist any system implementation by migrating any historical data and ensuring reporting requirements are met
- Ensure HR systems adhere to data privacy regulations and security standards
- Monitor access controls and user permissions to maintain system security and integrity
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and user guides
- Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards for HR metrics, workforce analytics, and compliance purposes within Power BI and Workday
- Translate complex findings and data in a compelling and easy-to-understand narrative for audiences of all technical levels
- Ensures data is consistently updated and accurate for stakeholders
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity within HR systems by conducting regular audits and resolving discrepancies
- Assist creating a data dictionary, data flow diagram, and other documentation
- Develop and deliver training programs to stakeholders to enhance their understanding and utilization of HR data
Our take
Smart contracts are slated to be the future of transparent, fair, and efficient digital dealings across industries as diverse as lending, real estate, and international trade. Historically, the application of smart contracts was limited to on-chain data, but oracle mechanisms like Chainlink can be used to import off-chain data (like those required for the broader application of smart contracts) onto the chain.
Chainlink Labs' work has marked a significant step forward in the progress of blockchain technologies - and has proven a remarkable success story for the company. It is responsible for the largest global decentralized oracle network in the world, used by hundreds of projects spanning online gaming and cryptocurrency. It has also received its fair share of critique - but blockchain technology at large remains a work in progress, and Chainlink has been quick to develop solutions.
All in all, the benefits of Chainlink’s work look set to become even more pronounced, as smart contracts become more applied across the globe. In late 2022, the company launched the staking of its native token LINK, to increase the security of the protocol and enable the Chainlink system to grow.
