Who you are
- 5+ years in content marketing, media, journalism, or storytelling roles
- Strong understanding of B2B marketing and audience development
- Exceptional storytelling, copywriting and editorial instincts to translate complex topics like IP law into clear, engaging narratives
- Experience building multi-channel content programs through AI-powered workflows
- Experience with video, social media, and creator-led content
- Demonstrated ability to execute multiple strategic marketing campaigns in parallel

What the job involves
- We're hiring a Content Lead to drive the next phase of MarqVision's storytelling and audience growth. This goes beyond publishing: your mission is to build lifecycle ecosystems around our most important insights, research, and customer stories, turning content into an engine for awareness, engagement, and pipeline
- You'll own our always-on content strategy across video, social, email, and influencer partnerships, getting our best ideas to the right audiences repeatedly, in formats they actually consume. A major plus: using AI-powered workflows to systematize creation, repurposing, and distribution, so one insight becomes multi-channel storytelling
- The role is public-facing too, so if you like the spotlight, you'll get your moment: hosting webinars, moderating customer discussions, interviewing industry experts, and appearing in video and social content
- Develop and maintain MarqVision’s brand voice and editorial guidelines
- Build a content ecosystem around flagship assets (research, case studies, webinars, and events) created with support from product marketing
- Ensure consistent storytelling across video, social, email, and owned channels
- Together with our Growth team, strategize on an always-on program across short-form video, LinkedIn and social storytelling, email insights, newsletters, industry commentary and trend analysis
- Build and manage a network of industry influencers and creators across E-commerce, marketplaces, brand protection, cybersecurity, gaming and digital IP
Our take
E-commerce marketplaces have significantly fueled the rise of counterfeit trade by enabling quicker shipments and expanding access to a truly global customer base. This issue was further magnified during the pandemic, escalating into a nearly $5B global problem that major brands cannot effectively address through manual monitoring alone. Enter MarqVision, part of a new wave of startups leveraging AI to combat this challenge.
Employing advanced AI and natural language processing, the MarqVision platform scans various marketplaces for counterfeit products and streamlines the anti-counterfeiting process to promptly remove these unauthorised items. Setting itself apart from smaller competitors like Counterfake and Visua, MarqVision concentrates its efforts on Asia-backed marketplaces. Recognising Asia as a major source of counterfeit goods, this focus has enabled MarqVision to secure partnerships with heavyweight clients such as Ralph Lauren, Miele, and Pokémon.
Backed by investments from industry giants SoftBank and Y-Combinator, along with participation in the prestigious LVMH accelerator program, MarqVision, despite its relative youth, has garnered substantial market confidence. This support positions it to emerge as a key player in addressing the escalating urgency of the counterfeiting issue, establishing itself as a leader in the evolving landscape.
