Sales Executive, Instacart

• 3-5+ years of experience in a sales environment
• 2-3+ year of experience in digital advertising or CPG sales
• Experience in managing client relationships, and partnering to drive measurable growth
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and take initiative in a high paced environment
• Comfortable analyzing and speaking to CPG and advertising insights and KPIs
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
• Client service orientation - fast follow ups, a strong sense of ownership
• Familiarity with tools of the trade (e.g. Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Google Drive, Salesforce)
• Experience with large data sets and ability to extract business insights from analysis (Experience in SQL, Tableau preferred)

• Instacart is seeking an experienced and driven advertising sales executive to join our Canadian Brand Partnerships team
• In this role, you will be responsible for managing a book of business of some of our fastest growing consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands, developing partnerships and owning all aspects of the advertising relationship
• You will empower partners to leverage Instacart’s advertising solutions and unique insights to accelerate their brand growth both on and off Instacart
• Our Canadian Brand Partnerships team is the newest and the first international ads sales team at Instacart
• We are developing the Canadian business from the ground up, building upon the deep expertise and ongoing innovation of the largest online grocery marketplace in North America
• We thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, working through ambiguity to deliver results on behalf of our Canadian CPG partners
• Develop and maintain relationships with advertisers, managing all aspects of the sales cycle for a book of business of 10-15 accounts while also pursuing new relationships and activations across non-active partners
• Selling with thought leadership & consultative sales skills across the prioritized client base
• Lead monthly, quarterly, annual planning and budgeting process with partners
• Analyzing and applying business insights to influence client’s investment decisions
• Identify and build relationships with executive contacts within your clients
• Partner with internal teams such as Account Management to identify opportunities
• Dive deep with data to identify opportunities and develop compelling data driven sales collateral, case studies, and custom ‘stories’ to translate benefits of Instacart’s platform to CPG advertisers business needs
• Leverage prior experience or interest in the intersection of CPG, Digital & Sales to drive meaningful growth
