Who you are

We think the role would be best suited to somebody who has previously worked in a high-volume, call centre environment
Can speak Norwegian!
Has a good understanding of technology, whether through previous work experience or personal hobbies/interests
Is flexible to work changing shift patterns, which include evenings and weekends
Is confident in using a variety of different software and the ability to multitask effectively in a high-pressure environment

What the job involves

The Customer Support Executive role sits within the heart of our Central Operations Team who focus on ensuring Pod Point and our network of chargepoints runs as smoothly as possible, 24/7
Handling high volumes of calls, offering personalised solutions to our customers ensuring each customer has a positive experience, even when things go wrong
Patiently guiding customers through technical troubleshooting processes providing simple, step-by-step instructions, and offering tips to optimise their experience
Working as part of the wider Customer Support Team to support our customers at any point of the ordering process
Maintaining thorough and accurate customer records
Supporting the Customer Experience Team with email complaints and social media communication
Reporting To: Customer Support Manager

Electric vehicle adoption has risen dramatically in recent years, but EV infrastructure can still be limiting for drivers. Pod Point solves this problem by making and installing electric charging points in homes and public spaces.

Since its launch, Pod Point has grown to become the UK’s largest provider of electric vehicle chargers, with a number of lucrative partnerships with supermarket chains such as Sainsbury’s, Lidl, and Tesco. Energy giant EDF bought a major stake in the company in 2020, a testament to Pod Point’s viability. Now, the company boasts over 240,000 EV charging points.

The company faces competition from the likes of Chargemaster, but its partnerships, and the backing of EDF, will allow Pod Point to remain a leading player in the EV market.
