Who you are
- 2+ Years of Full-Cycle B2B Sales: You have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding quotas in a closing role
- Outbound Hunter: You are comfortable building your own pipeline and do not wait for leads to come to you
- SaaS / Platform Familiarity: Experience selling software or platforms where business value is tied to transaction volume or GMV is a major plus
- Strategic Closing: You know how to navigate objections and close deals with small to mid-sized business owners
- Demo Excellence: You can translate complex product features into simple, high-impact business outcomes
- Analytical Thinking: You understand the math behind the business and can speak confidently about revenue and growth metrics
- Owner Mindset: You treat your territory like your own business and take full accountability for your numbers
- Bias to Action: You do not over-analyze; you pick up the phone, send the email, and make things happen
- Comfort with Ambiguity: You are excited by the blank slate of a new market expansion and are ready to help build the playbook as the business scales
What the job involves
- Own the Territory: Take responsibility for the entire sales funnel in the US/Canada region, focusing on high-potential photography studio segments
- Drive Growth: Hunt for new business and move prospects from initial outbound contact through to a successful close
- Master the Value Proposition: Become an expert in our platform and master the demo to show studios how they can scale their business and optimize their operations through our tools
- Collaborate for Success: Work closely with a dedicated BDR and the CRO to refine our North American go-to-market strategy
Our take
Taking professional photos for events and schools is as much an exercise in administration as it is in photography, with a gruelling and largely manual workload of organising photos, taking payments and shipping out prints eating into a photographer's time. GotPhoto exists to make this process much easier, automating promotions, sales and fulfillment, freeing the photographer to focus on their core business.
Considered the leader in its market, GotPhoto has amassed a customer base of about 4000 small-medium business and sole trader clients across the UK, US and DACH regions. While the company has had strong growth in recent years it still has a large market to grow into, with a core market that grows year on year as more photographers look into automation for their businesses.
GotPhoto was acquired by EQT Growth in 2023, providing investment for the platform's development and the addition of new features. This sets up the company to be able to tap its parent's commercial connections as it aims to grow its lead in an estimated $5 billion market.
