- You’re an experienced sales leader with a proven track record of selling platform solutions. You have a strong network of tier 2-3 agency and mid-market advertiser contacts, and are excited to build from zero
- You’re passionate about leading teams, driving results, and contributing to broader company success
- 8+ years of experience in sales
- Proven track record navigating both tier 2-3 independent agencies and mid-market advertisers, with a strong grasp of their unique priorities and buying behaviors
- Experience collaborating with Product teams directly
- Expertise in launching and scaling a new product
- Adept at leading high-performing teams while remaining hands-on, actively building a pipeline and driving growth
- Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to clearly and persuasively present complex ideas to internal and external stakeholders
- Highly organized and analytical, with an eye for detail and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using Salesforce and other CRM tools to analyze pipeline health, track performance, and inform engagement strategy
- Passionate about industry trends and thought leadership, with a desire to be an active participant in the broader ad tech community
- High integrity, professionalism, and a self-starter mindset
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for client meetings, industry events, and team collaboration

What the job involves
- We are seeking a Vice President to lead mid-market sales and the launch of Verve Ads Manager
- This high-impact role sits within our broader sales organization and will own the launch of the Ads Manager platform, including partnering on the G2M strategy, generating interest among qualified leads, building demand, and driving revenue growth
- As the head of this new platform, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the revenue strategy and go-to-market approach
- This role reports directly to the Executive Vice President of Sales and offers meaningful leadership potential, including the opportunity to build and manage a team
- Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for Ads Manager in collaboration with product, product marketing, and executive leadership, positioning the platform as the premier AI-native self-service campaign management platform, grounded in premium supply and the most robust, proprietary “intender dataset” that exists today
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Product Marketing, Marketing, Ad Operations, Strategy, and Engineering teams, both on G2M strategy and to refine the platform based on market intelligence and customer feedback
- Drive Ads Manager adoption by identifying qualified leads, pitching new prospects, and liaising with Product as needed in order to close new business opportunities with precision and speed
- Build a sales playbook for Ads Manager that includes key strategies to unlock new revenue streams and accelerate interest and adoption
- Build a high-performing team responsible for generating a robust pipeline, securing new business, and achieving targets
- Represent Verve at industry conferences and events while contributing to broader marketing initiatives
