Role
Who you are
- 7+ years of Product Marketing experience in a relevant enterprise software organization, with experience in AI or ML
- Strong messaging skills, specifically the ability to succinctly communicate customer pain points and tie them to the feature/function of the product to highlight the business value
- Ability to create effective relationships, influence and collaborate internally and externally at all organizational levels
- Excellent written and presentation skills and prior portfolio of work that you can point us to
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with and understand technical subjects and emerging technologies
- Experience positioning technical products to both technical users, economic decision makers, and other key stakeholders
- Self-starter who would truly enjoy working in a fast-paced, innovative AI company
Desirable
- BS/BA degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field
What the job involves
- Drive demand for Clarifai’s AI platform, helping organizations build and operationalize AI at scale
- Own go-to-market activities and execution for Clarifai’s AI platform
- Work closely with product management, sales, and marketing to understand customer requirements and develop target personas
- Create clear, differentiated persona-based messaging and positioning for products/solutions and campaigns
- Develop and drive go-to-market strategy for given solutions to raise internal and external awareness and grow the pipeline
- Work cross-functionally across marketing, sales, and enablement teams to develop and execute go-to-market activities that drive business performance and adoption
- Define and implement a content strategy to drive awareness and demand generation campaigns, including public-facing solution web content, collateral, videos, presentations, blogs, etc
- Evangelize Clarifai and our offerings to analysts, press, prospects, and customers—in meetings, webinars, conferences and tradeshows
- Collaborate with the sales and partner enablement teams to develop/support sales enablement collateral, such as training presentations, cheat sheets, internal field communication, etc
Our take
Metadata has been used to tag websites for years, ensuring a business’ web presence is optimized for search engines. However, this can only be applied to photographs manually, and the automatization of this process would be highly beneficial.
Clarifai provides web developers with the opportunity for images on their site to be algorithmically recognized, making metadata tagging easy. This has been built in the form of API tools, ranging from tools for beginner web developers to in-depth tools for professional businesses. Ultimately, Clarifai’s goal is to point the tools that companies like Google and Pinterest have, towards developers and other companies like retailers.
Since launching, the company has become a market leader in AI and has continued to develop its product offerings. Moreover, It has a cooperative research and development agreement with the U.S. Army. As part of this, the company is now focused on working on a large-scale electro-optical/infrared data labelling effort.
