- 2+ years sales or account management experience with proven track record of overachievement
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Fantastic written and verbal communication ability
- Eager to learn and grow
- Bachelor's degree or considerable and relevant work experience
- A tech savvy person who is experienced working with a variety of different technology (we use Salesforce, Outreach, and other sales automation/enablement tools)
- Interest (or a background) in life science would be helpful
- Prior experience working / selling in the field, a plus
What the job involves
- Quartzy is seeking a high energy Field Sales Account Executive (Austin, TX) to manage key Quartzy accounts in our academic segment
- In this role, you’ll build relationships with new accounts in order to maximize purchasing spend and grow adoption of the platform
- Drive New Lab Acquisition: Identify and onboard new labs at key academic institutions, maximizing early engagement and platform adoption
- Field Engagement: Spend 3+ days weekly in the field, building relationships with lab managers and researchers, hosting events, and aligning Quartzy’s solutions with customer needs
- Sales Strategy Execution: Tailor sales strategies to each account, leveraging insights to enhance Quartzy’s value for specific lab goals
- Account Development: Expand Quartzy’s presence in new and existing labs, boosting purchasing spend and platform use
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to integrate customer feedback and deliver exceptional service
- Market Intelligence: Gather insights on competitors and market trends during field visits to sharpen our strategy
- Travel: This role is expected to travel around 60% of the time
