Role
Who you are
- Fluent in written and verbal English and French—must be able to clearly and professionally communicate with customers and the Smily team. If you know additional languages, be sure to tell us!
- A proven experience in customer support is mandatory
- Ability to work autonomously and independently from home with minimal direction and as part of a team within different time zones
- Experience with Vacation Rental Software is a plus
- Ability to analyze problematic situations and find or propose appropriate solutions/alternatives
- Generally digitally-savvy: comfortable with Skype (chat, audio, screen sharing), emails, Slack, etc
- High attention to detail with a personalized touch, ability to analyze customers' needs and offer tailored solutions according to their business
- Flexible on working hours and schedules
- Must handle confidential information in a professional manner
- Willing to work in a company aiming to help bigger causes—humanitarian, social and ecological projects
- Knowledge of the vacation rental, travel or tourism industries; desire to improve the vacation rental industry
- Taste for adventure, entrepreneurship, curiosity, and strong motivation for this kind of activity
- You are organized and rigorous: you are able to manage several projects in parallel and prioritize, you are excellent at execution, are result-oriented, and pay attention to details
- You are creative and resourceful in your ability to find solutions
- You are autonomous: with us, you can't be afraid to get your hands dirty!
- You master and love modern tools and are comfortable with them (Hubspot, Clickfunnels, Webflow, Google Suite, Zapier...)
- An interest in the world of short-term rental and coaching would be a big plus
What the job involves
- Help people use Smily and respond to inquiries in a timely, professional, and friendly manner with excellent interpersonal skills (managing phone calls (inbound + outbound), incoming and outgoing emails, messages, chat conversations, etc...)
- Manage a customer Onboarding project from scratch with an autonomous, and proactive attitude whilst being a team player. Note that you are the intermediate between our Smily customers, the product team, and the technical team
- Good ability to provide training and likely to share your knowledge to guide customers in their daily use of Smily, including managing payments, invoicing, and complex accounting cases.4. Improve internal efficiency by proactively identifying opportunities to optimize our processes and tools
- Collaborate with our team members from our Channels across the globe within the different time zones
