Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
- 6+ years marketing experience
- 4+ years in B2B events/sponsorships, preferably in the digital health / benefits space
- Excellent communication and networking skills
- Demonstrated project management experience and obsessive attention to detail
- Ability to navigate in an evolving environment, balance competing priorities and manage shifting deadlines
- Eager to pitch in and supporting other Wellthy team members
- Hard-worker with a curious mind, and eager to learn new skills and technologies
- Mission-driven and passionate about solving the caregiving crisis
- Experience with Salesforce CRM platform
- To work from home, you must have a strong internet connection, quiet space to take calls and a professional (distraction free) environment
What the job involves
- You will be responsible for managing and executing Wellthy’s strategy for events and sponsorships. In this position you’ll aim to build awareness, generate opportunities, drive thought leadership, and accelerate Wellthy’s growth in the digital health space
- You will report directly to our Head of Marketing
- Manage and execute Wellthy’s event and sponsorship strategy across Wellthy-hosted and industry events
- Build custom prospect and client-centric experiences that support Wellthy’s brand and performance goals
- Own event and sponsorship logistics, and facilitate cross-team involvement
- Work with Marketing to coordinate content, collateral, handouts and other creative assets
- Coordinate and monitor lead attribution, follow-up and nurture programs alongside internal stakeholders
- Represent Wellthy and communicate effectively with third-party event organizers and other industry partners
- Measure, analyze, and iterate on the program to achieve maximum impact
- Manage budget, track expenses, and report on ROI
Our take
The US is soon set to have its largest elderly population of all time. Plus, the majority of older Americans live alone, often very far from immediate family members. In a country where over 40 million people are providing unpaid care to someone aged 50 or over, Wellthy is tackling a long-overlooked issue by matching unpaid caregivers with social workers.
Once registered on the site, a social worker takes on the role of care coordinator and can become responsible for a range of tasks including medical paperwork, insurance claims, treatment organization and in-home care arrangements.
Rather than going straight to the carers themselves, the company is attempting to scale quickly by approaching employers to add its service to employee benefits. This is particularly appealing to employers since many have found caregiving to be a critical barrier to re-entry for their employees. Hence this approach bodes well for Wellthy's continued success.
