What the job involves

  • We are seeking a Marketing Events Intern to join our marketing team this summer
  • This is an incredible opportunity to learn and grow alongside leaders and industry experts within an AI-powered tech company
  • You'll be exposed to multiple areas within the marketing team, such as event planning, partner coordination, marketing operations, lead generation, and data analytics
  • Your contributions will impact real-world projects for both our users and Dialers as we execute our major eight-city tour across the United States
  • The intern manager will be Alyssa Beatton, Events Marketing Manager
  • Building brand awareness of Dialpad and its product to businesses of all sizes and governing the use of Dialpad’s brand across all of the company, website, advertising both internally and by partners
  • Delivering clear messaging about the value of Dialpad’s products, what problems/challenges Dialpad solves, and examples of how businesses will benefit from using them
  • Educating potential buyers (VPs of Customer Support/Operations/Success) about the value of an exceptional customer experience during all customer touch points
  • Delivering content, tools, and messaging to the Sales team to help drive a consistent story across all customer touchpoints
  • Capturing these buyers through advertising, content downloads, or direct interest in seeing a demo and delivering these prospective buyers to the sales team
  • Analyzing data from all these interactions to continuously optimize, improve, and drive even more prospects to Sales
  • In your first 30 days you will:
  • Learn Dialpad's event management tools and processes
  • Create and maintain project timelines in Asana
  • Support venue research and contract coordination
  • Build event runbooks and checklists
  • Assist with vendor and partner communications
  • Help develop registration tracking systems
  • Set up spreadsheets for budget tracking and reporting
  • By the end of your internship you will have:
  • Successfully Executed an Event Strategy
  • Developed comprehensive event runbooks for multiple cities
  • Coordinated end-to-end venue logistics and vendor management
  • Supported successful on-site event delivery
  • Mastered event management tools and processes
  • Managed full registration lifecycle and communications
  • Built and maintained robust tracking systems
  • Coordinated VIP, speaker, and partner programs
  • Developed deep understanding of B2B event operations
  • Created data-driven event dashboards and reports
  • Contributed to budget management and reconciliation
  • Supported cross-functional team coordination
  • Balanced multiple priorities across eight city program
  • Hands-on experience planning a major B2B marketing tour
  • Exposure to multiple marketing disciplines (events, digital, partner, content)
  • Development of project management and analytical skills
  • Networking opportunities with marketing leaders and industry experts
  • Real-world experience in data-driven marketing initiatives
  • Understanding of B2B technology marketing landscape
  • Support for critical tour planning and execution
  • Fresh perspective on event marketing strategies
  • Additional bandwidth for data analysis and reporting
  • Assistance with cross-functional coordination
