What the job involves
- We are looking for a Sr. Product Designer to join UnitedMasters!
- The UnitedMasters team is made up of musicians, marketers, engineers, and storytellers with backgrounds from YouTube, SoundCloud, Pandora, Facebook, Uber, Dropbox, Complex, VICE, and more
- We work hand in hand with the award-winning creative teams that forge those innovative partnerships at Translation (our in-house creative advertising agency)
- Own every aspect of a product's design, from solving the core user challenge to shipping a well-tested and pixel-perfect UI
- Create and test rough prototypes early in the design process to create confidence in a solution
- Design high-fidelity UI and UX specs to clearly communicate requirements to your team's engineers
- Work closely with your engineers to build components that seamlessly fit into a larger component library / style guide
- Help make high-level strategic decisions with the rest of the product team
- Contribute your design thinking skills to other areas of the platform (education, marketing, customer success, etc.)

UnitedMasters is a music distribution service that acts as a direct pipeline for musicians and their commercial efforts. The service allows users to retain the rights to audio masters and audience data, in addition to providing a platform for the sale of merchandise and concert tickets. The platform’s aim is to give artists full control over the monetization of their music based on a regular subscription cost.
UnitedMasters has attracted significant backing from heavyweights like Apple, a16z, and Alphabet, while securing partnerships with platforms like Bose, TikTok, and Twitch. More than just validation, these relationships expand how artists can be discovered, promoted and monetized at scale - opening doors to major commercial and record deal opportunities that go well beyond the reach of traditional distribution platforms.
