Senior Backend Software Engineer, Scoot

• You have 8+ years as a full-stack engineer
• You are experienced with and excited to leverage the following technology stack: Angular/React, Node.js, AWS
• You are passionate about building something from scratch and energized by the sight of a blank whiteboard
• You thrive in a team setting and are excited to mentor and empower other engineers - you see their successes as your own
• You thrive when faced with customer and product-focused challenges and care as much about building great products as you do writing great code
• Your technical planning reduces failure scenarios and identifies edge cases early on
• You are a mindful, transparent and thoughtful communicator
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant industry experience
• Proven experience as full stack developer with 6+ years of experience
• Proficient in Java, Typescript, Angular, Python, and AWS
• Knowledge of collaboration tools such as Github, Git and Jira
• Experience with continuous integration
• Based in the United States
